$24 in fuel AND we couldn’t resist to pay a quick visit to Moe’s diner, The “Almost” World Famous Diner. How inviting is a large oversized cow visible from the highway? This retro diner not only required the waitresses to wear poodle skirts but also named the dishes after classic musicians, songs and celebrities- we were intrigued by the “Great Balls of Fire” chicken dish, some cheesy tater tots as our last tribute to Wisconsin and finally washing it down with a gingerale that had a small kick?
As you can see in the pictures we made friends with the locals and staff quickly and did a speedy photo shoot showcasing the inside of this almost famous diner. Pushing on to Minnesota Cat in the drivers seat.
